Triskele began by incorporating in 2004
from a small Medical
Transcription service, specializing in Transcription of Health Records and
Consultation Letters with a particular focus in the specialties of
Psychiatry and Oncology.
Over time, our transcription services
have expanded to include other areas outside of Health Records, including
Meetings, Interviews, Research Panels as well as Conference
Workshops, Round Table Discussions and Breakout Sessions. Of
particular interest, has been our work with Hospice Projects, Birth
Centers, and Socially Responsible Business through the Social Enterprise
Alliance.
We continue to provide Transcription
Services to Clients all over the US.
Inspired by some of our
transcription, clients, we plant the seeds for newer endeavors...
Willow Birth
In
conjunction with Dragonfly Doulas, Willow Birth provides Labor and
Postpartum Doula services in the Portland Metropolitan area. We
provide information and education, as well as support during pregnancy,
birth and postpartum. We support all families, regardless of your
family structure, belief system, or financial situation, with a particular
focus on providing teen mothers with the extra support they need.
The future plan is to establish a
waterbirth/birth center, and education/resource center for low income families.
Not only providing a safe alternative to hospital birth, but also offering
a central site for prenatal care and well baby care. This would also
be a resource center for childbirth education, parenting skills classes,
nutrition workshops, birth video movie night, book club meetings, support
groups and a referral network with local care providers. We also
will provide a lending library and reading room. We potentially hope
to also offer professional portrait and birth photography on site
In addition, our center will have
meeting/workshop space which can be utilized for continuing education for
providers, or other workshops.
Daddeez Bees - Apiary and
Meadery In our first foray into the field, we
have undertaken some training in beekeeping, and had our first hives.
After a successful harvest of honey, as well as some moderately successful
attempts at harnessing a swarm or two, we unfortunately lost our hives
over the winter. Due to a lack of availability of a good site to
restart our hives, we are putting the apiary on hold for a year.
However, we continue to experiment with mead making (honey wine) and hope
to continue in that direction.
